Terms of use

Last updated: 28 June 2026

The short version

These terms cover your use of Kidberry and its coding course, Python Code Quest (the "course"), operated by Kidberry LLC (“Kidberry,” “we,” “us”). By buying or using it, you agree to them. If you're using Kidberry on behalf of children, you're agreeing on their behalf too. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

01What you're buying

You're buying a long-term license to use the course — not the course itself. There are two licenses:

"Lifetime" means for as long as Kidberry reasonably continues to operate the course — not a promise that it will exist forever.

02What you can and can't do

You can: use the course as much as you like within your license, and print the included workbook and worksheets for your own family or class.

Please don't: resell, rent, or redistribute the course; share your download or purchase link publicly; post the files on another website or platform; remove or hide Kidberry's name; claim the course as your own; or use it beyond the size of your license (for example, a family plan run as a paid class).

03Price and payment

The course is a one-time purchase, shown in US dollars. Payment is handled by Gumroad, a third-party payment provider that is the seller of record and may add any applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST at checkout. Your purchase is complete when that provider confirms payment.

04Refunds

We want you to try before you decide, which is why Lesson 1 is free. If you buy and it isn't right for your child, email hello@kidberry.us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund — no hard feelings.

05How the course is provided

The course runs inside a modern web browser and loads a free open-source tool (Pyodide) from a public network, so it needs an internet connection to start. We work to keep everything running smoothly and may update or improve the course over time, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, or that it will work on every device or browser.

06Children and supervision

Kidberry is designed to be bought and set up by a parent, guardian, or teacher. Younger children should have a grown-up nearby. You're responsible for supervising the children in your care while they use the course.

07Our content

The course — its lessons, characters, artwork, text, and code — belongs to Kidberry LLC and is protected by copyright. Buying a license gives you the right to use it, not to own it or its parts.

08No guarantees, and limits on liability

Kidberry is an educational product offered to help kids learn to code. We don't promise any particular result or outcome. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the course is provided "as is," and Kidberry's total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to the amount you paid for it.

09Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the course after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
